ART
A GATHERING OF PEOPLE consists of
over 50 works featuring single figure
compositions, portraits and in some cases
small groups. The exhibition will cover the
historical period ranging from Robert
Whale (1805-1887), Horatio Walker (1858-
1938) and Paul Peel (1860-1892) to young
contemporary painters such as Sally
Wildman, Brian Jones and Chris Finn. The
majority of artists represented will be
Canadian, but a number of Europeans will
also be included. At London Regional Art
Gallery, 305 Queens Ave., London until
July 29.
POSTER ART -- the posters on exhibit are
part of a collection owned by the Oakville
Centennial Gallery donated by the late
Colonel Louis Keene. At London Regional

TWENTIETH CENTURY CANADIAN
DRAWINGS -- The more than 100
drawings are arranged chronologically
until the end of World War 11. From that
point on, the arrangement suggests a
context by which to consider and enjoy the
