school house set up in the Lambton museum.
when it opened last spring with a large hunk of that coming from
the Wintario funds. That's the kind of support for cultural things
that's usually hard to come by. Obviously some enlightened local
officials realized the value of the gift that had been dropped into
their laps.
The Targe modern building gives the Lambton museum an
advantage over many of the other tine pioneer museums in
Western Ontario. It's a building that was designed specifically
for the purpose of a modern museum. It's also located on a large
parcel of 19 acres of land which gives plenty of room for
expansion, which is already proceeding.
It's rather startling to come upon the museum while travelling
