Anvhov.. v.ithout even asking Loretta Young if she could
babysit. I offered my services. After all, what are grandmas for?
I rutltlully. I can't see enough of the little darlings. Hopefully.
howth1they v.ake up and I could have them to myself for a
v. bile. one at a time. of course Grandpa decided 'to stay
hontc...the Hockey (Game. his easy chair. plus the added
attraction , I :t frids.e :dv.:n s hulginT v. ith snacks appealed to hint
more than babysitting Grandma, v. -ho v.as babysitting two
nr:utdchildren. plus a s'rey French Poodle called Babbi and a
Sheep I)oi' called, Ver nus. :\h v.cll. you can'1 account for some
peoples taste.
Hm.cvcr. getting back to the subject of water beds...have you
ever tried to .iict off of one? Sure. it's easy to get in one. but try
!2ening out! Of course. perhaps the one you might have a chance
'encounter t.ith v.on't be like No. 2 Son's grater bed. It's huge.
looking like an expanse of sea water covered by a flowered bed
sheet. He made it himself. so of course. he v:anted to make sure
Ite had lots of room. He v. as ah. ays like that. so his brother can
tell von. v:ho had to tight for a spot in the big double bed they
shared :n children. but then. that's another story. Anyhow:. this
huge watery mattress is solidly niched on a big brown frame,
giving it a deceptively respectable look. even though it's a man
trap (or a Grandma trap) believe me!
Poor reception on the T.V. ntv little darlings' refusal to awaken
(het it I didn't v• ant them up. they;d awake) and the fact that I
felt a little chilly. made ntc wend my v.av to the water bed. 1
knee. -I'd he comfy and v:arnt there. Also. I would hear little
Andrew if he ay.oke. 1 knev. I'd hear Garth cause if you don't
