CHEESE CRISPS*
Ingredients:
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
'/3 cup sesame seed
- Mix cheese with butter until smooth.
- Sift flour and seasonings and stir into cheese mixture.
- Chill about 1 hour and shape into small balls about '/4".
- Roll in sesame seed.
- Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 425 F until golden.
(about 15 minutes.)
Other cheese treats:
- Roll Nippican into balls and cover with chopped walnuts or pecans.
- Stuff dates or prunes with a creamed mixture of cheese and mayonnaise.
- A tooth pick of onion cheese or smoked cheese and a pickle.
