Their \.urk. they say. is almost totally functional. aimed at
the person who likes to use pots. They take a v.arm, fluid
approach. loose but not sloppy. Addy calls it. They choose
warm colours and friendly shapes.
In their efforts to meet more of their customers and to sell
more pottery directly (a more profitable situation than
v.holesaling and very .necessary if they hope to be able to
make a comfortable living) Rob and Addy have been waking
the tour of craft shows the last two years including such
places as the Colborne Country Fair last month at Saltford.
They also hope to hold about two big showings of their work a
year at the store. Their first effort along that line will he at the
Christmas show on Nov. 28 from noon to six at their store.
They're planning to have entertainment. urine and cheese for
visitors.
They're busy right now getting ready for that show and
getting their Christmas order tilled. It's the busiest time of
the year. they say but after Christmas. they hope they'll be
able to slog do\. n and relax a little and work on fixing up the
house portion of the building.
They find their work very enjoyable though and have a good
working relationship xrith each other. Both have their ovrn
