For instance an article on enjoying the beauty of winter and keeping the right frame of mind seemed like a good idea at the time. If, however, the idea had come up after winter had truely set in with a vengeance in early January, chances are it might never have seen the light of day. Somehow after you've worn out three snow -shovels, pushed several dozen assorted shapes and sizes of cars out of snow banks and wrenched every muscle in your back, you just don't find winter very romantic. Luckily, however, by then the commitment was made the show must go on. So we have a photo -story Snow Belt Winter about enjoying winter weather. This month we also visited two new, residents of the snowbelt area living through their first winter quite well. Ron Walker and his wife Bev Katzin are both artists who hailed recently from Toronto but have moved into Huron county to live in the beautiful countryside. They find it has changed their art work and tell more about it in the story. How many people can say that they're doing the most exciting thing in the world after being at the same job for 16 years. Well Stan Jones, the man most associated with The Fashion Shoppe in Goderich can. He tells about it in this issue. And our dining editor found The Garage in London a fascinating place .for a night out....and a filling one too. Contents Fashion Shoppe ..
