Then came a salad and a Targe basket of
buns. Then came the main course. The lady's
chicken was tastey and she enjoyed the oven
browned potatoes but did not enjoy the mixed
vegetables.
After the soup, salad etc. the gentleman
found the six -ounce steak quire large enough
and was glad he hadn't ordered one of the
larger steaks. The steak was tastily cooked.
The lady found the dessert of hot blueberry
pie and ice cream delightful and the man
enjoyed the hot apple pie.
The total bill was 510.00 plus tip. The
overall impression of the Twin Gables was
one of good value for the money and a place
knocking on the door of being a "special"
place to go out for dinner. Good food, great
service, reasonable prices, adequate decor,
but just a few little things that could be
,improved ... at least in our humble opinion.
