THE LONGEST YARD:
Burt Reynolds and Eddie Albert star in this
movie about a prison football game where the
prisoners take ()tithe guards. The C.F.L. was
never like this. Some people will enjoy the
movie. Others, who resent blood and
violence, won't understand how this can be a
comedy, At the Lyceum, Wingham, March
5-11.
AIRPORT 1975;
You'd think the airline tragedy bit had been
worked to death but Universal proves it can
still be a big box office draws. It's been one of
the most popular pictures of the year. At the
Lyceum, March 19-25.
MR. MAJESTYK:
Charles Bronson stars in his tough guy role.
At the Lyceum, March 12-15.
PORTNOY'S COMPLAINT:
One of the lesser hits to be seen this month.
Starring Richard Benjamin and Karen Black.
The book was a success,but the movie wasn't.
It's teamed with another movie that didn't
succeed well at the box office, Myra
Brekinbridge which featured the return of
Mae West to the screen along with Raquel
Welch.
JUGGERNAUT:
Director Jerry Lester made Three Musketeers
a fun6 movie and now he turns his hand to an
old story of emergency at sea and makes that
fun too. The movie stars Richard Harris and
Omar Sharif.
DIRTY MARY, CRAZY LARRY:
It's coming around again already teamed with
Vanishing Point. Nothing to write home
about.
THE PHANTOM OF PARADISE:
A satire of the freaky world of rock music,
both on stage and back stage and about the
legend of old horror movies. Paul Williams
wrote the music. It's teamed wtih Donald
Sutherland and Elliott Gould in S.P.Y.S. at
the Park, Goderich, March 5-8.

GREEN GALLERY
A small private gallery on St. Patrick Street in
Goderich emphasizes the works of Jim
Marlatt and some other area artists. Mr.
Marlatt, decided in 1972 to make his painting
hobby a full time job. His rural sketches are
widely distributed and he alsd does water
colour work. Open evenings or by
appointment.
