Village Squire, 1975-02, Page 5You have to love
movies to run
a small town
movie house.
John Schedler does.
John Schedler is a movie nut.
You can tell if from the name of his
business. Garland Amusements, named after
his movie love, Judy Garland. You can tell it
from- his job running a small town movie
theatre with loving care. You can tell if from
his hobbies: collecting super 8 m.m. prints of
classic movies and sound track albums of
movies. He has wrapped himself up in the
movies, and it has benefited movie-goers in
the parts of Huron, Perth and Bruce counties
that his Lyceum Theatre in Wingham serves.
Realistically, there probably shouldn't even
be a Lyceum Theatre for John Schedler to be
running Like most other small town theatres,
the Lyceum bit the dust several years ago
