This month
One of Canada's 15 prime ministers was born in this area.
Quick, can you think of his name? Don't feel bad if you couldn't.
You were probably in good company with most people. We have
an article this month on that man and a little of the reason why he
is remembered by few people, even in his own area.
There's another man who is known by few people outside of his
own community and hiw own profession but who is one of the
most interesting people around. Art Carr is an innovator, a
musician and a tough -headed newspaper man, a throw back to
the newspapermen of the past who were more worried about their
own little town than the rest of the world. He's a fascinating man.
What is the difference between a city person and a country
person? We have a story that tries to define the different
psychology of the city versus small town person.
Robert Laidlaw returns with another of his short stories that
will perhaps bring back a few memories and will bring a few
chuckles.
And there's much more for you as we wish you the
compliments of the season from all the staff and our free lance
writers.
