HEIM GALLERY: Guenther Heim's small
gallery near Wingham offers a new exhibit of
paintings by Ontario Artists which opened
May 13. Though paintings at the gallery are
all on sale, visitors not interested in buying
are welcome to come and browse. Open daily.
Travel one mile north of Wingham on
Highway 4 and watch for the signs.
THE GALLERY/STRATFORD
Joan Frick, a four year study, is at The
Gallery from Nov. 8 to Dec. 8. The exhibit was
arranged in co-operation with the Aggrega-
tion gallery in Toronto. It shows the artists
interesting us of the pencil. The Gallery is
open Tuesday to Friday, and Sundays from 1
p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 to 5 p.m.
GREEN GALLERY
A small private gallery on St. Patrick Street in
Goderich emphasizes the works of J im
Marlatt and some other area artists. Mr.
Marlatt, decided in 1972 to make his painting
hobby a full time job. His rural sketches are
widely distributed and he also does water
colour work. Open evenings or by
appointment.

BAZAARS
It's the time of the year for bazaars and many
local organizations will be holding theirs in
your own area.
Ontario Street United Church, Clinton is
holding a Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 23, from
2:30 to 4:30 p.m. You'll find candy, sewing,
baking, used books and toys, produce and
preserves, a tea shop, and a Christmas
Shoppe.
