This month
Few cities the size of Strat. ,rd can boast a full time art gallery
as good as the Gallery/Stratford, the former Rothmans Gallery.
Robert Swain. the director of the Gallery tells of the problems of
running the gallery now that Rothmans has withdrawn its heavy
financial support.
With the price of antiques s. oaring and original pieces getting
harder to get every year. Ernie Niblock of Auburn has begun
making reproductions that may be the answer for many people
who love the old furniture. This multi -talented man tells us about
them.
Robert Laidlaw tells us a gentle talc about grandparents and
his memories of his particular grandfathers.
Glen Scott continues his series on pioneer life in western
Ontario.
Village Squire is sponsoring an art show of some of the best
local artists. There are more details in the Around Town section.
