We said that our sheep would not get hurt because God was guarding them from harm. We tiptoed so we didn't wake up the baby. We all crowded around the Jesus. Then we knelt beside the manger so, we could see the savior sleep in the manger. We prayed to God for this baby -today. Also we ask for forgiveness. Then we ask- ed Mary and Joseph about the'baby, They said that they loved the° baby:After a while we left so they could have some time with their baby. We said thank -you for this baby to God and we said thank -you to the Angel's for telling us the great news. Thank -you God, thank -you. They were looking for a place to sleep, but there was none so I let them sleep in the stable. I Was really sorry that they didn't get a Blace in the inn because they were in desperate need and were going to have a baby. That same night before thefcame, it was very busy and that is why they didn't. get *a place, I sent my son over to the stable to get it ready and make a place for them to sleep. • • I will tell you, the next day, there were a lot of people there. Wisemen, shepherds and my son-earne just to see the special baby. The same day I went out to clean the stable and all the sheep and cows looked surprised to see people in the barn. That night was the first night.that the building was overcrowded and even had people in the stable. That weekend, I -was really tired because I had to feed everybody and I had to feed the animals and clean the stable for Mary and Joseph and the little baby. I was depressed when they had to leave, so I gave them a good meal and at the meal, I don't know how many times they said "thank you." Every five years they would come and visit me and I always made sure that I had an extra room for them. Joseph and Mary always told me when the angels talked to them or when they had a dream. One day, the baby that was born had to be crucified: By that time, I was retired, but I still kept care of that family. I even went to the drucifixion. I stayed with Mary and Joseph,' but I didn't get to see Jesus rise from the dead and descend into heaven. Mary was glad that she knew the Jesus was not dead, but in heaven. I was glad to be with her the whole time when the baby was born. , Karen Lubbers As carolers sing and festivities abound, we'd like to say, !`Thank, you -in every way for being so kind." Have a very Merry Christmas, All!
