The community etends sympathy to
Des O'Donnell on the loss of his wife Mary.
Attending the funeral from a distance
were Mrs.. Dorothy Moore, Mr. and Mrs.
Srutler of Marysville and Mrs. Marjorie
Brace of Florida.
Friends and neighbors all rooted and
kept their fingers crossed for Alex and Cin-
dy SiMpson on Thursday, December 11.
Even though their number wasn't chosen
for one of the bigger prizes, they still came
home with 'the $10,000, Congratulations!
John S. Dalton and Bridget Hogan both
performed in' their Christmas Violin
Recital iri-Goderich on Sunday, December
14 at the North Street United Church: John
S. Dalton performed the song Allegro
Suzuki. Bridget Hogan performed Tucka
Variation. Both children did an excellent
job of their solos.
Lee Drennan celebrated his eighth birth-
day on Friday, December 12. Lee had
several friends from school attend the par-
ty. Happy birthday, Lee.
Friends . and family. ,from the area at-
tended the school concerts at Brookside
and St. Joseph's schools. The young per-
formers did an excellent job at both
schools.

Cathy Elphick, the wife of Brian Elphick
of RR 3 Lucknow and the daughter of Bob
and Shirley McCall, formerly of Goderich,
graduated on November 21 from the
Diploma Nursing Program, Conestoga
College, Stratford Campus.

of RR 4 Wingham wish to announce the ar-
rival of their son, Michael John, 9 lbs, on
December 12 at the Wingham and District
Hospital. Proud grandparents ' are Mrs.
Margaret Finkbeiner of London and Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Garniss of Wingham.
EDGAR - Mr. and Mrs. Dale Edgar of RR
3 Wingham are. pleased to announce the
birth of their daughter Alyson Elise, 8 lbs.
