Reader questions Elston's vote
on homosexual diserhnination
To the Editor,
This week our M.P.P. Murray Elston
voted in the Ontario Legislature to protect
homose uals from discrimination,
ecause of this, any family with a self
contained apartment for rent will not be
able to refuse a prospective tenant
because he is a homosexual. Nor will an
employer of young people, without break-
ing the law, be able to refuse a job because
of a man's homosexuality.
Let there be no argument on this, some
of us know personally that the nature of the
deviation is such that a sizeable ntunber of
homosexuals have a preference for young
boys. Surely therefore, children should not
be put at risk, and good people should not
have to break the law to protect
youngsters. If only one child is molested or
gets A.I.D.S. because of the new law, then
TO
Murray Elston's vote is a dreadful thing.
If you agree then please phone Murray
and tell him you want the vote rescinded
and soon. His office numbers are 357-2463
and 3964735, and be warned, they will try
to soothe you with fair words about
"treating everyone equally."
Yours sincerely,
Peter Edisbury

P.S This _letter is not a disguised plea to
hate homosexuals, rather we should try to
like them, but not their practices. I
