•The Luoknow Pee Wee "A's"travelled
to Ripley- on Friday evening hoping to
come away with a win after lastweek's tie.
Lucknow was trying a new system by sit-
ting one of the four lines out each game.
Both teams skated hard in a "clean"
hockey game with only five minutes of
penalties being ,called. However Ripley
came ut ahead by a score of 4-2.
Ripley 4 Lueknow 2
Ripley drew first blood when Mike
Hodgins came up with the puck while
Lucknow was attacking hard in the Ripley
end. His near breakaway resulted in a IOW
shot which beat goalie Adam Skillen.
Ripley went up by two when Rob Neable
picked the puck up in the corner and
stickhandled around the defense and
goalies. The period ended with Lucknow
exerting, strong pressure led by' Mike
Vanderveld.
Lucknow opened the scoring in the se-
cond period When Dale Priestap fed an ex-
cellent pass from the blue line to Chris
Stephenson who neatly picked a•spot in the
upper corner. Peter Neufeld tied the game
two minutes later when he picked up a re-
bound, after Terry Stanley bad kept the
. puck in at the blue line and set up
Vanderveld who took the assist.
Ripley came right back to score when
goaltender Adam Skillen misplayed the
puck which ended up on the stick of Mark
McLeod who shot into the open side.

The last four minutes of _the second,
period saw Lucknow peppering the Ripley
end with shots after excellent hustle and
effort from Vince Strickland, Warren An-
drews, Adrian Rau and Peter Neufeld.
The third period was hotly contested, but
remained scoreless until less than a
. minute left in the game when a shot hit the
boards and rebounded off Adam Skillen's
stick into the net.
Teeswater 6 Lucknow 1
On Monday, November 17, the Pee Wes'
travelled to Teeswater to take on their
high -flying Pee Wee team. The game was.
tighly contested at both ends of the ice with
the Teeswater team winning by, a score of
6-1. „ .
Lucknow's Brad Rhodie was first to
score putting in a rebond from Dale
Priestap and Chris Stephenson. Teeswater
came back quickly with three first period
goals, two of which were given up through
inattentive defensive Olay, around the
Lucknow goal.
In the second period, both teams showed
some good offensive moves by Rob Crich,
• Justin Murray and Mike Vanderveld. Near
the end of the period, a funny bounce off
the boards left the puck uncovered in front
of the Lucknow net and Teeswater took ad-
vantage by poking the puck past a diving
goalie, Adam Skillen.
By the third period, the Lucknow
