Milking My First Cow •
By Angela Ward
Once upon a time as I was going to the
barn, I saw a cat with a dress on. It was
purple. As I went on, I saw a dog with a tie ,
on, and it was orange,
When I got to the barn, my cow was
wearing a red sock on one foot and with the LOPS
other foot, she was playing an organ. As I
was milking my cow, I saw a mouse and it
was singing. When I was going to pour the
• milk into the jug, it turned blue, pink, red,
green and purple.
The next day, my cow had a calf, and it
was plaid. When it was 14, it was ready for
milking. So I milked it and it gave white
milk, so we drank it.
That is the end of mj'r story.
Chased By a Pig
• By Ethan MOTO
One day when I was cleaning out the
• pigs, all five of our sows got out. Then, our
little sows got out. Then, our big hogs got
out. What a day it was!

the pigs and oiie, in fact, the all out pigs got
out. One decided to chase me! Then, our
horses got out of their pen and were over at
our neighbors' hayfield.
So, we finally got the horses and the pigs
back in their own pens.
The next .day it was the same. The next
day I got killed, at least I thought I did but,
it was the boar. He won't make another
oink. Before that boar got killed he hit me
se I had to have rabies shots for a whole
year!
•By Daniela Fisher
One day I went to the barn, and my dad
was milking the cows. He said I could milk
one of the cows, so I got a pail and started
to milk one of the cows, . •
A few minutes later, the cow started to
scratch herself with her leg, and kicked
me instead. After she 'kicked me, I flew
right out of the barn door, and landed in
the pigs' water trough.
The cow in the barn pulled herself loose,
and started to run straight for me,
couldn't get out of the water trough
because 1 was stuck, The cow came runn-
ing down and bucked me. I flew right on to
the road and landed in a tree.
Then, the neighbors came with their car
and they saw me up in the tree. Then, they
got me out of the tree and brought me
home.
At home,. I told them and my mom and
dad the story of milking my first coweThey
could hardly believe my story. •
