8i= . inweekeiid game

The Lucknow Lancers were less than im-
pressive Friday might as Teeswater doubl-
ed up on the locals 8-4.
Teeswater 8 Lancers 4
Teeswater opened the scoring and never
looked b,ck bolo; ang a 7-2 Head after two
periods of play. Wayne Phillips, Larry
MacPherson, Rod .Simpson and Paul
Hamilton scored for the Lancers.
Lancers 6 Mildmay 4
On Sunday night, the Lancers hosted
Mildmay and were able to hang on for a 6-4
win. Mildmay opened the scoring in the
first period, but veteran Jim Murray tied it
up before the period ended. The Lancers
added three more goals in the second by
Brad Humphrey, Allan Eadie and Grant
Gilchrist.
In the third period, the Lancers fell
asleep .and let gay score half -way
through the period. Lucknow's Grant
Gilchrist, with a short-handed effort,
mistakenly poked one past a helpless ay
Guay to bring Mil* ,ay wut 'n one. Paul
Hamilton added one more, but Mildmay
closed the gap again before Rod Simpson
put the game out of reach.
Mystery Man
T 's week's mystery man is married,
plays right wing for the Lancers and
cheers for the Toronto Maple Leafs. If you
guessed Grant Gilchrist, you're right!
Grant's team play and hard shot make him
a valuable asset to the team and when
linemates Pat Murray and Allan Eadie get
Grant headed to the right net, lie's even
harder to stop.
The Lancers .travel to Kincardine next
Friday and have Sunday off.
