Teen volunteer program The nursing home is planning to start a new program m here like the Candy Stripers in the hospital.. Instead, it was thought if this group were to be called "Teen Volunteers" maybe there would be some boys interested b joining. There will be pins and certificates handed out for hours worked. If anyone is interested, would they please come to the nursing home to fill out an application form. If you are 14 or in Grade 9 - we need you! The Silverts Clothing also set up store in October for the residents and families to do some shopping. The residents would like to thank everyone. who visited last month and entertained. The resident are really going to miss the head nurse, Muriel, Courtney who retired on October 28. Best of luck, Muriel. Superintendent retiring this 'year Ashfield Township Road Superintendent Jim Hunter is taking an early retirement - effective the end of this year.
