Many visitors with Emersons
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Straker of Bellgrave
visited with her father Cliff Rollings of
Bray Lodge and called on Mr. and. Mrs.
Victor Emerson on Monday.
We are sorry to report that Wallace
Milligan had the misfortune to fall and
iireat his right wrist recently. The com-
munity wishes him a speedy recovery.
On Tuesday, Mrs. Doris Wilkins called
on Mrs. Emerson at Bray Lodge and Vic-
tor Emerson at Wingham hospital, She
also stopped in to visit with her daughter,
Mrs. Doug :Ross, Michael, and Sherrilynn'
of Wingharn.
Mr. and Mrs. Dawson Craig of Auburn
called on Tuesday evening on Mrs. Emer-
son at. Bray Lodge and on Victor Emerson
at the Wingham hospital
Victor Emerson arrived home on Friday
after being hospitalized. .

Fire destroys Ashfield area -barn
The barn on the: property known as the
Old Meyers Homestead on Concession 7 of
Ashfield Township was completely
destroyed by fire on Friday.
Cletus and Mary Louise Dalton had
' visitors from. Austria looking at farms in
the area. They arehoping to settle in the
area.
Visiting with Bob and Jean Simpson on
Saturday were Rinse and Liz Wiersma of
Whitby and Liz's mother mother Minka
Vanderley of Drayton,:.
Steve and Sally 'Elliott of Whitby were
staying at their farm in Kintail on the
weekend.. They visited with ;Sally''s
mother, Helen MacDonald of Goderich.

SLOETJES - Carl and Belinda are pleased

son, Bradley Carl, on October 8,1986,.at St:
Joseph's Hospital in London weighing 8 lbs
8 oz. Ile was later transferred to Kincar-
dine hospital.

Vanderklippe of RR 5 Lucknow are pleas-
