The pinecrest Manor Iursing Home
receivedsome good news recently as it
,was granted a three-year accreditation

which governs the performance of

province, was granted for an above.

down by the independant agency.
. ' She said in order to establish the ac-
creditation, a long questionaire was com-
pleted as well as the nursing home being
visited by a inspector from the association
for an entire day.
"It was a voluntary thing with an in -
dependant surveyer surveying the home to
see if it meets the standards," she said.
In the report filed by the survey, they
noted that the nursing home provided
"quality, care" and it was "commended
for the excellent attention given to the
counncnl,'s standards".
Mrs. Volmer said the council gives ac-
creditation for a maximum of three years
to as little as one year. In some instances,
an accredit,., tion might not be granted.
