area lost their home by fire on Monday,
September 15. A benefit evening has been
arranged and a clean up at the time of
writing is 'underway and hopefully before
long a new home will be underway.
Something quite unique on Sunday, Sept.

as they did a ten mile ride through the
township country roads. It was the late
Terry Fox Day and those from our area
were Weir Eckenswiller, Gerald, Leo and
Frank Murray and D. Scott. After the ride
was over, they ended up with a barbeque
supper. Glad Alan Rivett enjoyed the ride
and had a look at our lovely countryside.
Mrs. Alex Percy returned home from
University hospital where she had surgery
earlier in the week.
Pastor and Mrs. M. Christensen motored
to the Bay of Quinte, Prince Edward Coun-

there.

love, joy and peace that passeth all
understanding. All enjoyed the film.
