The first of 33 persons charged after an
early morning drug raid at the end of
August had his day h court on Monday in
Goderich.
Kelly J. MacAdam,„ 19, of Goderich pled
guilty to charges of trafficking a restricted
drug and trafficking a narcotic.
He received a sentence of nine months in
will for trafficking the restricted 'drugs
, lysergic acid .diethylamide (LSD) and a
sentence of: three consecutive months in
jail for trafficking the narcotic cannibus
resine.

The drug raid was the result of a three
month undercover drug investigation
throughout Huron County which involved
4 local police. officers who confiscated
quantities of drugs totalling $7,654. In the
raid, 33 persons were charged with 71
chares, 32 of them for trafficking drugs.
The investigation was the biggeit opera-
tion in the county for approximately six
years.

. Maypark Development to Ontario Ltd. and
enter into a new agreement as the former
.agreement is in default
Council decided ,not to convey part of
Russell Street in Port Albert to Ken and
Jessie Chester as it provides public access
to the beach. . .

Ross and Ass5ciatei of Goderich, were
authorized. to do preliminary engineering
studies and to prepare plans and specifica-
tions to replace the bridge on Concession
11 and 12 of the township which collapsed
under the heavy rains.

bell and Dr. Michael Shubat.
According to the plan, a disaster is any
sudden influx of patients which cannot be

sources and is classified "Code Blue".
