Robert J. Roberts, Mrs. Roberts and fami-
ly this past week.
Bertha and. Freeman Olson attended the
funeral of Bertha's brother. Fred Hay at
Wasaga Beach last Friday. - = -
Sympathy is extended to Frank
Pentland and family on the death of a clear
son and brother Roger in his 41st year on
Thursday, Sept. 18th at Wingham hospital.
Burial was in Dungannon Cemetery on
Saturday.
The community is saddened to hear of
Allan Dickson's sudden illness on Satur-
day. It was unfortunate he had to miss the
bus trip to Toronto to see the Blue Jays
defeat Boston 5-2. Your friends and
neighbours wish you a speedy recovery.
We are sorry to report that Doris Hodges
is also under the weather and a patient in
Wingham hospital.
There were 10 tables of cards at the
seniors euchre on Wednesday evening. The
three top prizes won cash courtesy of Art

with Maxine winning the cut. Lucky door

Mr, and Mrs. Ira Dickie enjoyed a
camp1ng trip around Lake Superior last
week. Mrs. Sarah. Townson and Miss Nellie
Polowick of Sudbury returned with them
for a visit.

of Markdale, Mr. and Mrs: Walter Dickie,
John Wilson, Tammy and Robbie Wilbee,
Mr. and Mrs. William Dickie and family,
Mrs. S. Townson and Miss N. Polowick
were dinner guests. Sunday with. Mr. and
Mrs. Ira Dickie.
Sunday with Bill, and Marie Park and
Brad. Patti and Gary Johnston also were
supper guests.
Congratulations to Lloyd and Doris
Hodges on the occasion of their 43rd an-
niversary on September 22 and to Ken and
Beth Hodges on their 44th anniversary on
September 19th.
