activities column for Sentinel
By Lyndon Johnston
The students and teachers of Lucknow
Central Public School are "back to school"
and already many activities are keeping
them busy.
There have been many changes at
L.C.P.S. since last June. We were
immediately aware of the increase in the
number of students. Our enrollment has
risen from 197 students to a total of 266 and
we welcome those students from Kinloss
Central to our ranks.
In order to accommodate everyone, two
rooms in the open area were closed in with
new walls. Also, an amphitheatre was
build for students to •use as a film, drama
area.
Finally, many new faces have appeared
on the staff. Mr. Bill Pike is our new
principal assisted by Miss Mary Kay
MacKenzie, as vice-principal.
The following teachers are also first year .
