The guest .speaker, Mrs: Eunice Con
ningham,. of Lucknow, was introduced. by
Bessie .McNee .and she gave a ° splendid
demonstration of painting on china. She
:had a dozen or more of her beautiful plates,
pitcherand jewel. box, 'and,. even a clock on
display. She,was asked many, questions
and willingly answered them all. Ila
Crozier thanked Mrs.' Cunningham and
.presented her with an. envelope. Everyone
was thrilled with her beautiful Work', but it
is an expensive hobby.
The meeting closed with the Queen and
Institute ' Grace. Lunch was ' served by

bated their 45th wedding anniversary at
the home of Diane and nal Nugent and
family to St. Thomas, August 17.

After a lovely smorgasbord supper Doris
and Bill were presented with anniversary
gifts.. Each thanked all for coming .andfor
the lovely gifts, . with special thanks. to
Diane. and Jinn for a most enjoyable party
held in their honour.
Friends and neighbours from the Glen
haven apartments on Ross Street gathered -
one evening for .a picnic lunch in honour of
Cecil Congram's 86th birthday.
After enjoying a social time together, the
guest of honour, graciously thanked every-
one for making this a special day for him.
