Innovative .could be one of numerous
adjectives to describe the art form created
by a Lucknow artist.
A veteran of act shows 'throughout the
world, Robert Skipper will show his unique
art using a blend of wood and paint at an.
exhibition at the Blyth Festival Art Gallery
Railed Walls and Waysides opening on
August 21. Mr.. Skipper will be joined at
the exhibition by fellow modern artist Tony .
Urquart and photographer Alex Neuman.:

out -of -the ordinary artistic statement,.
"In the last 20 years, I've developed my
own singular form. It is every bit as much
construction as the application;. of paint. ".
"It's about land, water and -earth' and
also about the poignancy you feel once you
view it," said Mr. Skipper. °
When creating one of the works of art,
the 'intended statement tends not to , be
open-minded, he says, because a specific
meaning is always inherent in the piece as
it is '.being designed, There. is, however,
like most art, room for individual interpre-
tation. = ,
