Colborne Township held %ii its fairs at Carlow from about 1918 until ZI 1943. Country Fair proves popular , The Christmas Country Fair The "Christmas Country Fair" held each October now in its 19th year was organized in 1966 by a group of area craftspeople: Mesdames: Annie Lamb, Phyllis Allin, Adelaide Feagan, Grace Easom and . Mrs. Evelyn Hardy performed most capably as convenor until 1982 when she felt it was time to take a rest.
