Congratulations to Debbie Lowry who graduated June 6 at the University of Guelph with her Bachelor of Applied Science Honours Degree in Family and Consumer Studies. Debbie is presently working at Mothers Helpers Day Care in Kincardine and will be attending the Faculty of Education by Brock University in St. Catharines in September. Debbie is the daughter of Perrin and Marion Lowry of R. R. 1 Kincardine. Congratulations, Debbie. The sons of Max and Helen Riegling had a bush weekend recently when Jay and Beau Riegling attended the Cub and Beaver camp at Saugeen Bluffs at Paisley. Dean was visiting with his cousins in Clinton and they attended the Clinton Trade Fair. Betty Jones was in Clinton on Friday working with the Holstein Club at the •Turn to page 20 Institute tours sawmill, museum and Varticipation Lodge On Wednesday Clarence Irwin, who had been to visit his wife in Wingham Hospital, called on Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson on his way home. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Emerson and Brenda of St. Catharines spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson and spent Saturday evening at an outdoor wedding celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jamieson. We are sorry to report that one the weekend Mrs. Nelson Smith of Markham passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Smith became well known here as they spent many weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Russel Chapman. He was Mrs. Chapman's brother. The community expresses sincere sympathy to Mr. Smith and family in the passing of Mrs. Smith. Tim Falconer went with his school class on their bus trip to the Science Centre in Toronto on Wednesday. Mrs. Angus Falconer and Mrs. Alan Falconer on Wednesday visited with Cassie Mowbray at Strathroy. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Falconer were at Strathroy on Saturday and visited with Cassie Mowbray. Karen Beecroft of Kitchener spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft. Other visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Beecroft were Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hertel, Kitchener and Ken Sinna- mon, Wingham. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Nicholson and family of Egmondville spent Father's Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John de Boer. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott and Karen visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Elliott and family of Brussels. Weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Carl McClenaghan were Mr. and Mrs. Doug Baird, Cayuga; Mr. and Mrs. Mel Brooks, Cayuga and Mrs. Raymond Desroches of London. Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw attended the wedding on Saturday of Hazel Winger of Fordwich. The reception and dinner were held at the church where a large crowd was' in attendance. The newlyweds are away on a wedding trip to New Brunswick. Gertie Tiffin of Wingham was a Sunday evening caller on Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tiffin and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson. Isabel Tiffin of Lucknow returned home after spending a few days with Mrs. Wesley Tiffin.
