Sympathy extended to family
Sympathy is extended to the farnilies of
the late June (Collyer) MacDonald. She
•passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Guelph on April 25 and to Wilbur Brown
and families in the passing of a dear wife •
and mbther on May 3. -Also to the families
of •the late Lloyd Ashton, 'whose funeral
Was held on May 9.
Congratulations to Rod' and Joanne
McDonagh on 'the arrival of a' baby boy on
April 29.
We wish better health to Jim Hunter of
the 12th concession of Ashfield. Jim is a
patient in the hospital in Guelph.
We regret that Mr. Charles Davies is
leaving Lucknow Public School the end of
June and will be principal of the Repworth
Public School next term. Also, Mr. Carl
Bailey is leaving and will .be principal at
Wiarton. We will miss both teachers here,
and we wish them best of luck in their new
district Will will miss Charlie and Bernice
and family in the cominunity s they have
their house for sale.., Mr. Bill 'Pike of
Kincardine will be the new principal here

The fire alarm went about 8:30 Saturday

The LtiolctiOw Town and Country Club
met in the Legion Hall on May 6 and, all
enjoyed 'a Pot Luck noon luncheon.
The meeting opened with the singing of
Of Canada and the theme song., It was
unanimous that the consumer magazine
subscription at the Public Library be
renewed for two years. Members are urged
to make use of it at anytime.
Amelia Cumming was presented with a

30, the number of ' groups. purchasing
tickets was double the figures for the same
period in 1985. Sales 'Of vouchers were up

have been sold for each performance as at
