Predeceased by an infant daughter Jean,

. her husband John in 1930, she
leaves to mourn her son,' Ian MacDonald
Grant of Shawnigan Lake. Born in Kintail,
Ontario. . in 1888, the only daughter of the
late Murdoch MacDonald and Viola Dales,
she came West iii .1'889. She was a niece of
the late Dan and Dick MacDonald of
Kintail. She was also predeceased by four
first cousis, Annie Mae, Bain and Harry
klacDonald and Katherine Johnston, all of
the Kintail area:,„
Educated at the North Ward School,
Mrs Grant later trained as a nurse. in
Louver and nursed in that city and
