It was a speciali time for everyone as much reminiscing and visiting was done and pictures were taken. Mrs. Maclntyre was born to John 'Ross and his wife, .the former Emma MacDong . • all on March 24 4$98. She married • , William Maclntyre ‘on. March 23, 1923. :.Early in their marriedhfe they farmed in -. Saskatchewan, before 'returning to the • family. farm on Concession -4 in Kinloss Township, where they Mined until the — death Of Mr. Maclntyre in 1958. She has resided in Lucknow)inCe 1962.• Xerfamily includes her son Donald,,, and wife Joan and their, seven daughters, Carol,' Rosalie, .Ardotina, Barbara, Linda, Sheila, and JOanne. She, has seven great - grandchildren. Herbrother,Alex of Huron - view also attended ,fie party as well as.. other ,relatives. Mrs. MaChityre's 90th birthday .was , recognized with a Plaque from the Province of Ontario and- with congratulatory mes;- sages from Governor ,General Madame Sauve, Prime Minister Brian MuironeY, MP, Murray' Cardiff and 'WV Murray Elston. • • _AbOut.:4005Junior farmers from across the province met for their Annual March Conference at the Holiday Inn in London, • March 14 16. • The theme for this years' conference was "Growing For The Future". Delegates worked on developing various .such as leadership and communication while they met fellow Junior Partner members.. March Conference -combines the organ- ization's annual meeting with the election of the provincial president and vice-presid- ent as well as an atmosphere conducive to learning. The program was filled with • dynamic guest speakers and active group discussions.. • One of the highlights of :the Vareh Conference was a Panquet and dance. At this ' occasion, a candlelight ceremony , marked the induction of provincial direct- t • ors ,and executive for the upcoming year and the announcement was Made of the selected winners of interprovincial and overseas trips.
