A recent visitor with Mr. and Mrs.. Bill
MacPherson of Holyrood was Jim, , Stevens
of Listowel. Dinner guests on Saturday at
the sarne home were Bessie and Keith
Maulden.
Mr. and Mrs. William MacPherson were
supper guests on Monday with Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Scott at Ripley.
ACW ladies greatly enjoyed the quiet
Lenten Day conducted by the Rev, J.
Francom of Kincardine, assisted . by Rev.
M. J. Letson at St. Peter's parish hall at
Lucknow on Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It
was nice to -have •other church ladies join in
- and also the men who attended. It was .a
worthwhile time of praise, prayer and
scripture and meditation together.
Its been nice these days having: Mrs.
Marretta Hodgins at
the 'house here. It has
been sold and we are really sorry llarrett
will be leaving on' Wednesday to make her
permanent home at Niagara. She will be
greatly missed in herchurch and by friends
and relatives. Visiting with her•.,here were

and Mrs. Agnes Hodgins gave the courtesy,

The World Day .of Prayer was held in the
Anglican Church on Friday -having .. been
rescheduled for two weeks because of that
blustery March 7. Friday " the 21st was a
beautiful day .,for the ladies to get to the
service.
