Murdoch McDonald •
Murdh McDonald of Lucknow passed
away :onr°March 11, 1986 in Kincardine and
District General Hospital in his 92nd year.
Born October 11, 1894 in Huron Township
on concession 1, lot 55, he was the son of
the late Peter IV10Donald • and Christena
McDonald where ,he farmed with his
Mother on the family homestead. "
On June 24, 1933 he ' married Evelyn,
Ruth Hooey where they continued on'
purchased , until' 'he a neighbours

:farm in 1957, with his son Grant until 1976
when he moved to Lucknow and ket acture
in farm work until three years ago.
Throughout .his life 'Murdoch was always
interestedin•'community affairs, music and
sports. fle' was a lifelong member 'of • the
Pine Riyer United Church until transfer-
ring his Membership to. the Lucknow
United Church,
He is survived brhis wtfe`Evelyn Ruth of.
Lucknow and One son :Grant and his wife

two sisters, ' Mayme (Mrs. Eldon.

He• was predeceased by two sisters,
Grace (Mrs. William Reid) of Arborg,
Manitoba and 'Jessie (Mrs. Menno Oesch)
of Zurich, two brothers Robert of Huron
Township .and Andrew in infancy, •
Funeral service was conducted on March
13 at 2 p,m, from the MacKenzie and
McCreath Funeral Home in Lucknow with
Rev. Warren McDougall Of ..Lucknow
United Church and Rev, Robert Stokes of
Pine River United 'Church officiating.
Robert` Rutledge, :a former ' neighbour

service accompanied by Mrs,,. Lynn Lowry:
