JOLLY - Dr. and Mrs. Donald T. Jolly of
Kincardine thank God for Christopher
Robert Stephen Cann Jolly, 8 lb. 121/2 oz.,
born Monday, January 13, 1986. A healthy
brother for Timothy. Proud grandparents
are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jolly, Mr. Bruce
Cann and the late Susanna Cann of Exeter.
BONDI - Michael Charles born Jan. 10,
1986 at St. Joseph's Hospital, London,
weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. Proud parents are
Charles and Kelly. First grandson for
Wayne and Nancy Fitzgerald of Huron
Township and Carl and LaVonne Bondi of
Wingham. First time great grandparents
are Irene Boulton of Windsor and Tom and
Marie Fitzgerald of Amherstburg.

Scheeringa - Purdon
John Williams Scheeringa, Brampton, son
of Mr. and Mrs. William Scheeringa of
Listowel and Kathy Lynn Purdon, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Purdon of RR 3,
Wingham were joined in marriage on Dec.
7, 1985. The service was held in Chalmers
Presbyterian Church, Whitechurch with
Rev. Paul L. Mills officiating. Matron of
honour was Lorie Falconer,RR 3, Wing -
ham with Kendra Purdon of Waterloo as
bridesmaid. Best man was .Bob Gibson,
Toronto with Doug Henderson of Listowel,
as groomsman, Evert Scheeringa of
Listowel and Kevin Falconer of RR 3,
Wingham as ushers. The reception was
held at Lucknow District Community
Centre. The newlyweds travelled to
Niagara 'Falls for their honeymoon. Mr.
and Mrs. Scheeringa are residing at 139
Rutherford Road, Brampton.

One the eve of the Legion Tournament,
Lucknow Peewees played the .Ripley
Peewees in Ripley. Thisturned out to be
the lowest scoring game played by Luck -
now all season.
The first goal of the game was scored.

Onthe morning of Jan. 18, Lucknow and
Ripley met again to open the Legion
Tournament
Tournament in Ripley. Both continued
where they left off a few hours before
playing a close checking game with good
goaltending. Like the night before, 'Donnie
Gammie scored the first goal assisted .by
Rod Crich. It. was all Ripley from there
with Ripley scoring four straight goals -to
win 4. 1 and eliminate Lucknow from the
tournament.
Luelinow's next home game is Jan. 24
at 7 p.m. against Mildmay.
