Y Tom Sanderson (left), past Chairman of the Maitland Conservation Foundation accepts a donation towards MVCA's Conservation Education Centre from John MacDonald, President of Ideal Supply Company Limited. LOCAL FIRM SUPPORTS CONSERVATION Conservation education means lear- ning more about the wise use of our natural resources. Sure, this means be- ing outside, but wouldn't it be nice if there was a warm, comfortable classroom on site? The comfortable classroom was already available at the Wawanosh Valley Conservation Area.. It was the warmth that the Maitland Valley Con,00 - servation Authority couldn't afford to fund. The Maitland Conservation Founda- tion, a non-profit fund raising organization, set to work to raise funds for the installation of heating in the classroom. John MacDonald, President of Ideal Supply Company Ltd., when approach- ed for the contribution commented that he was I happy to assist in the development of the Wawanosh Valley Conservation Education Centre. Mr. MacDonald also indicated his pleasure in supporting this type of local educa- tional project. Today, thanks to the generousity of Mr. J. MacDonald our classroom is heated and from the staff and students at Wawanosh, our "warmest" thanks.
