For severar years, he was employed at Lankin Motors. In December, 1981, he and his wife went to reside in Brucelea Haven where, after a very short illness, his wife passed away in County of Bruce Hospital in Walkerton on March 19, 1982.. Left to mourn his passing are four daughters and their families, Agnes (Mrs. Lloyd Buckingham), Evelyn (Mrs. William Splan) of Kincardine, Emma (Mrs. Loran Peter) of Kincardine Township and Cather - Peter Moffat Peter Moffat of- Brucelea Haven in Walkerton, formerly of Culross Township and Kincardine, passed away on Monday, December 30, 1985, in his 84th year. He was born in Culross Township on June 15, 1902, the son of the late Wm. G. Moffat and Catherine McIntyre. He was a long ° time member of the Teeswater Masonic Lodge, having received his 50 year jewel. He was a member of the Knox Presby- terian Church in Kincardine. A Masonic service was held January 1 with the funeral service held January 2 at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Tees - water with Rev. Robert Shaw officiating. Pallbearers were Wade Gibson, Michael Buckingham, Ronald Brown, Gino Tersig- ni, Randy Alton and Brad Aitchison. Spring interment in Teeswater Culross Cemetery. Gordon Francis Hodgkinson Gordon Hodgkinson ' of Goderich and formerly of Kinlough passed away at Huronview, Clinton on Tuesday, December 31, 1985 in his 76th year. He is survived by his wife Kathleen A. Hodgkinson of Goderich, three stepsons, John and Percy Garrick of Goderich and George Garrick of Seaforth; three step- daughters, June Taylor of Goderich, Clara Swan of Seaforth. and Margaret Cull of Newfoundland and one sister, Phoebe of Vancouver. Rested at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, after 2 p.m. Wednsday, January. 1 from where the funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 1986. Ruby IL Cranston Ruby H. Cranston of Goderich died at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Thursday, December 26, 1985 in her 82nd year. A member of Victoria Street United Church in Goderich, she was born in Kinloss Township on April 26, 1904, a daughter of the late John Kennedy and Nancy McCorvie. She married William H. Cranston who predeceased her. She is survived by a son, Cecil and his wife, Marybelle of West Wawanosh Town- ship and two grandchildren, Tenille. and Terry. She is also survived by her two sisters, Olive, Mrs. Roy Maclnnes of Goderich and Daisy Ferguson of Ashland City, Tennessee. She was also predeceased by a sister, Annie Lamb. Funeral and committal services were held at the McCallum Funeral Home on Sunday, December 29, 1985 at 2 p.m. by Rev. John D. M. Wood of Victoria Street United Church. Burial in Dungannon Cemetery. In the first two periods Lucknow had it all their owr way, leading ' 6 - 1 at intermission, although Ripley was showing signs of more intense play. In the third period the tables • turned with Ripley getting all four goals of the period with Mark McLeod getting two goals in the final 'minute, for an exciting finish. Final score was, 6 - 5 for Lucknow. Scorers for Lucknow were Brad Murray three goals, two assists, and Dennis Park played a good game with one goal, two assists. Single. goals went to Rod Crich and Peter Neufeld. Single assists were by Russell Sutton and Mike Vandervelde. The Lucknow Peewees will be in Ripley on Sat.
