Trinity families celebrate Christmas at home
Jim and Annette Ritchie and Aaron
spent Christmas with Mel and Dorothy
Bogie in Goderich; also with her grand-
parents Ray and Lenore Cooke. Christmas
eve was spent with her parents Grant and
Sandra Curran and family.
Cliff and Isabel Kilpatrick and Barry
visited Christmas day with her brother
Cecil and Mrs. Pollock of Goderich and also
---cal1e , on Cliff's mother Clara Kilpatrick.
Guest with John and Shirley Hunter
and family r` stmas day were Jim and
Raeleen Campbell; Bradley, Lisa and Kim
of London, Violet and Harold Elliott and
Brian of Ripley.
Christmas guests with Jim and Isabel
Hunter were Alma MacKinnon, Lorna
Button, Mary McIntosh, Pam and Henry
VanDyke, John McIntosh, Darlene Coiling,
Cecil and Marybelle Cranston, Terry and
Tenille, Wanda and Jack Millar and Sally
Ritchie.
Dec. 15' they celebrated the Nicholson
Christmas. in Barrie with Wanda and Jack
Millare and other relatives,
Celebrating Christmas on Sunday with
Harvey and Betty Ritchie. were Elva and
Lynn, Bryan and Joanne, Mel and Jayne,
Krista and Shawn. Bryan is home from
Alberta for two weeks.
"David and Betty Kirkland and Suzanne,
along with Jessie Kirkland of Lucknow had
Christmas with Nancy and Gard Folkard of
Belgrave.
Violet and Alan Ritchie spent Christmas
day with his parents Isabel and Wesley
Ritchie in Lucknow.
John Bremner of Toronto spent a few
days with his parents Peter and June and
all were guests with relatives in Guelph on
Christmas day.
Paul and Janice Blake and Stephanie
spent Christmas Day with Mr.. and Mrs.
Howard Blake, and with. Mr. and Mrs, Ed
Millar of Goderich. '
Christmas visitors with Cliff and Joan
Livingston and family were Stephen and
Karen Livingston of Halifax, Marg and
Karl Cameron of Shallow Lake and Tracy
and Eugene Glanville of Crediton.
Christmas Day visitors with Bill and
Irma Phillips, and Audrey were Irma's
mother Mrs. Rosa Walters of Goderich;
Shirley and Hugh Eskritt and daughter
Donna of Harriston; and Bob and Diane
Phillips of Kitchener. °

Good goaltending by Adam Skillen and
Joel Sutton kept Harristot down to one
goal.
On Dec. 17 the team visited Tees -
water and=put;another game away, 6 - .1:
Scoring for Lucknow with a hat trick was
Chris : Stevenson. ' One was unassisted
with one goal assisted by Steven Porter
and the other by Justin Murray. Vince
Sticklend put one away with Clint
Murray assisting. Justin Murray also
. scored and Chris Stevenson assisted on
that one. Clint Murray and Matt
Drennan came°togetheffor another one.
The team has only lost one game this
year has,::only lost one game this year
against Mildmay.

The Lucknow Atony As Managed to tie
Wallace on Dec. 21 in spite of the poor
officiating which resulted in 14 minutes
against the. Lucknow team while Wal-
lace 'only had four minutes.
With Lucknow down 3. - 1 in the
second period, 'a great effort by Justin
Murray narrowed the margin to .2 3.
The goal was unassisted Justin Murray
also sired the first goal for Lucknow
assisted . by Chris. Stevenson. Vince
Sticklend scored thelie goal assisted by -
Matt' Drennan making it 3-3,. Wallace
came back with one more and Justin
Murray scored for. a ,hat trick with` 34
seconds left on the clock.
The final score was 4.4.. It should be
interesting when :Wallace meets this
team. in Lucknow Oti Feb. 3 at 7 p.m.
Aiom B tea
records first win
The third week in December as a busy
one for the Lucknow Atom "B" team.
'December 14 saw Ripley playing in
Lucknow. The • "Bs" chalked up their first
win of the season, beating Ripley 2 - 1.
Team rookie, Tom Hogan first lit up the
scoreboard, scoring unassisted, at the end
of the first period. Halfway in the second,
Lucknow's Mark Bakker scored on a pass
from Adrian Helm. Thirty second later
Ripley snuck one . past netminder Keith
Todd. Heavy action. in the third period,
didn't increase the score.
Monday the 16th . Ripley ' got their
revenge on home ice; winning, `4 1.
Lucknow's scoring line, couldn't. 'connect
until late in the third period, when Ripley
was already ahead 4 - 0. Colin Humphrey
assisted by Dean Tiffin robbed. Ripley
goalie Chris Davey of the shut out.
On Saturday the 21st, Mildmay: was in
Lucknow for the first tiitne.It was +a. well
played game, with a lot of `action; to keep
the cheering section roaring.
Mildmay opened the scoring in the first
period. Darryl Gibson answered with .the
first Lucknow goal on assists from Nathan
Daer and Steven Adams. Mildmay scored
twice in the second :period, brining the
score to i - 1 at the break. Lucknow came
back on the ice ready to win,, missed a few
S chances, and- then Steven Adams
dented the twine on a ;pass from defense -
man Scott ftintoul. Lucknow again poured,
on the power, looking for the tie. A
MildMaydefensenan scooped up the puck,
broke away down';:thecenter and scored.
Final score, 2 for Mildmay.
The Lucknow Atom "Bs" are participat-
ing again this year in the Drayton tourna-
ment on Dec. 28. With a bit of luck, they've
got the kinks ironed out by now, and will
come home with a good showing. Next
home game, Jan. '4 against'Wingham, at 4.
