A11.500 tickets, at S100 each, were sold with proceeds going to the St. Joseph's church repair and renovation fund. A full- list of winners can be found in an advertiscrnent el- sewhere in this paper. The last two draws were split by Peter Van Osch and his nephew Ken and Lisa Van Osch, of Woodstock, each winning S5,500. The CWL did themselves proud as they served scalloped potatoes, baked beans, ham and salad supper with desserts. Many thanks to all who. helped. • Welcome to Mark and Mary Luanne Doherty and family of three - Adam, Laura and Kathleen Kingsbridge. The children attend St. Joseph's school.. Marvin Scott entered Stratford General Hospital on Nov. 8 for a hip replaccin'ent. He was able to come home on Sunday. Aileen Trommer visited last Tues- day with her sister, Lillian Odbert, at the Stratford Nursing Home and on Saturday with her sister, Marie and Barnby Cade in St. Mary's. Her nephew, Dan, was celebrating his birthday. Recent visitors with John and Myrtle Spivak were their daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and John'. DUNGANNON • Last Sunday, the •Kingsbridge' Brownie pack with leaders Terrie Van Osch, Dianne Lalonde and junior leader -in -training, Bridget Hogan, carried flags in the proces- sion at the beginning of mass at St. Joseph's Church, and placed a wreath in honor of Remembrance Day. Visitors with Bob and Doreen McCormick on Sunday were Kim and ish Rahaman and family, Ryan, Alicia and Jordan of Kitchener and Bill and Donna McCormick of Auburn. With the good weather conditions, farmers arc able to combine their fields of corn and get the plowing done. In the hunting party of Harold • Errington, eight deer were bagged. Among their possessions is a set of antlers - 10 point, 24 inch very impressive span. • Another local party comprised of Leonard, Larry and Elwyn Brindley, members of .the 'Sproule family, Scott Rivett and Don Gregory claimed success as well. Sympathy is extended to the. Harry Clarance family on the tragic death of their son Steven, -on Nov. 12. A memorial service was held from Bethel Church in Goderich on Tuesday. Aaron Bruce, son of David and Diane Thomson, was baptized and received into Donnybrook United Church on Nov. 13. • "Lest We Forget" was the children's story theme at Dungan- non when Rev. Alex McGilvery led the children throughout church, viewing the honor rolls in 'memory, of comrades who had fought and fallen in World War I and I1. Jenny Tucker will be happy when the first day of December rolls around for that is the day her cast will be removed from her right arm - the result of a tumble from her bike. Much interest is shown in the weekly euchre games at the seniors' • centre. Recent winners (Nov. 2 and 9 ) were Jean Phillips, Bernie Henry, John Harris, Tom Culbert, Nels Pearson, r Helen Jewell, Dorothy Cuyler, Deloris Culbert, 'Aileen Trommer and Fred Craw- ford.
