Club is heading into a very busy year in 1995, as fund - rasing for the new sports complex begins. The Kinsmen have pledged $100,000 to the sports complex, which along with other regular commitments will see them raising $150,000 for community service. Several events are planned to achieve this goal. The first is their New Years Eve dance. Along with the Community Centre Board, the Kinsmen will be putting all profits from the night towards the arena. Steve Chamney, who chairs the event this year, says the $30 cost per ticket will be ail -inclusive = dance, party favors, lunch and refreshments. - "This year we'll introduce. the `Lucknow Kinsmen Arena Drive Mug' to avoid all that waste that in the past has been annoying to some would be goers," said Chamney. Every person will be given one of the `mugs' when they enter and only these mugs will be used for refreshments. Chamney said this will eliminate the scenario where one person gets a tray of drinks and some are wasted. "With these chan- ges to the evening, we hope to attract the crowd that we've lost in the past, and make this the most successfuj New Years dance ever," said Chamney. Another new twist to the evening is the special `abstainer' admission charge of $20. As usual the Kinsmen will have special evenings for tickets sales.- Dec. 8 and 15, between 7 and 9 p.m. at the Community Centre. `Blyth' ends 20th with a big bang The Blyth Festival has done it again!
