Kinloss Township council
does some house-cleaning
KINLOSS TOWNSHIP ; Council
dealt with some houscleaning
matters when it met on Oct. 17.
A bylaw was passed authorizing
an agreement between Art Helm,
owner of lots 13, 14 and 15, Conc.
2 and the municipality regarding
road allowance excavation. The
bylaw sets the boundaries of a
designated blind sideroad in the
township that butts' up to Helm's
gravel pit.
An agreement between George
McIntosh and the township has
been drafted regarding an unopened
road allowance between Kinloss
and Turnberry Townships. . An
agreement had been in place with
the former owner and this one
simply updates the paper work.
Once the agreement is signed by
McIntosh, it will be prepared as a
bylaw•.
An agreement with the bylaw
enforcement officer, Dennis
Thompson, has been prepared and
once signed will be prepared as a
bylaw.
Mark Becker, clerk treasurer, said
that each of the seven
municipalities, that formed the
steering committee to hire a joint
bylaw enforcement officer last year,
will this year have their own in-
dividual agreements with Mr.
Thompson.
Correspondence was received
from Clarke Insurance Adjusters
informing that they have closed
their file on the Palmer tree issue
since the municipality is not liable"-
for
iable"for the damage done to the trees.
The meet the candidates night is
scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Please note the change from last
week's tentative date.
