The Blyth Festival will cap off its
fabulously successful 20th Arra ver-
sary season on Ocf;. 22, at the Myth
Community Artzna with the 7th
Gala Dinner Attctionr. `I'hje evening

p.m. binner will$ be served at 7
p.m. and will feature many culinary
delights from the kitchens of the
board and staff.

Stamp show
The Kincardine Stamp Club will
hold its 10th anniversary show and
exhibition on Saturday, Oct. 8 at
the Royal Canadian Legion Hall,
Lambton Street, Kincardine.
Being Club's 10th anniversary, a
special show cover in a limited
edition of (50) will he issued with
the co-operation of Canada Post.

Lobb will lead the enthusiastic
crowd in the opportunity to bid for
a wide variety of donated items

Each cover will bear the famous
Kincardine Lighthouse logo and
will bear the date of the show, the
stamps will be cancelled first day of
issue by Canada Post on an inscrip-
tion block of four, of an issue to be
released at that time. Application
forms for these covers can be ob-

'100Huntley' minister is
guest at Salvation Army
In the tradition of the 'Salvation
Army, the Family Worship Centre
will be a lively place to bc, on
Sunday evening Oct. 23 at 6:30
p.m. At that time the Rev. David
Mainse, host of the well known
Christian Television program .100
Huntley Street, will be joining the
Wingham congregation for a
veritable spiritual feast, of worship,
praise, and the word.
To enhance the worship and joy
of the evening, the singing will bb
led by the Salvation Army worship
team, who will be joined by the
choir of Sacred Heart Church in
Wingham, our other special guest
for the evening.

The children's classic Peter and
the Wolf complete with actors,
puppets, and Prokoficv's marvelous
music comes to the state of the
Blyth Memorial Hall on Oct. 29 at
1 p.m. This public performance
follows five days of sold out
matinee performances • to •arca
schools.
Along 'wi'th director and producer
Duncan McGregor, several area
community members arc involved
with the production including Ann
Elliott of Blyth, Teague Onn, Zoey
Onn, Arlene Darnbrough, Marian
Doucette and Fran Cook.

Liona Boyd
returns
to Blyth
Juno Award winning guitarist
• Liona Boyd will return to Blyth
Festival on Nov. 8.
Boyd is acknowledged as one of
the, world's loading classical
guitarists who has over the years
embraced not only the classical
style, but also pop, jazz, latin and'
soft rock.

Dungannon glass designers/artists Pauli and Philip Sommer opened their studio for public
touring last weekend as part of the Huron Society of Artists Studio Tour. Their children, Noah
(front) and Jeremiah are also artists in their own right designing and making various articles
