Denise Black, Ambassador of the
Dungannon .Fair will be vying for
the title of 1994 CNE Ambassador
of 'the Fairs this week in Toronto.
John Crumb and , his wife, of
Niagara Falls, called to visit his
friend Henry Drennan and wife'
Bernice who he hadn't seen for 51
years. John and Hcnry met and
worked at the Big Mill in Godcrich
in 1943.
Wesley Riven, son`of Duane and
Nancy has been holidaying with his
-grandmother Sandra Rivett in Little
Current, Manitoulin Island: They
travelled by Polar Express to
Mooscnce.
Nancy, Cassandra and Kelvin
joined with them in Little Current,
returning home with Wesley on
Aug. 9.
Heather Ann, eldest daughter of
Neil and Nancy Stapleton, became
the bride of Robert Aucoin, at a
lovely ceremony at St. Augustine
Church on Aug. 13.
Maid of honor was her sister
Christine, with bridesmaids Mary
Katherine, Maureen and Patricia,
The five Stapleton girls were all
involved with the wedding. The
former Marie Boyle of -Detroit was
guest soloist.

famil'y's spacious farm lawn, before
the dinner and reception at Saltford.

They will reside in Toronto,
Heather Ann, being involved with
"'Environment of Canada, -and Robert
an elementary school teacher.
Laura and Jennifer Bcrc have had
the -pleasure of their cousins Becky
Snowden,- Jamie Lewis 'and Lisa
,Culbert this past week.
George and Sandy Durnin and
'family Aaron, Rebecca and Rachel
from Nashville, 'Tennessee, visited
his mother. Violet Durnin, in -C'lin-
•ton, and other friends and relatives
in .this area Iasi week.

euchre on Aug. 10. Scorers were
Ruth Shiell,' Lillian Appleby, .Joe
Courtney' and David 0. Swan.

Visiting Gilbert and Anne Millar,
the past two weeks are grandsons
Justin and Jonathan Semple, Toron-

spent at Riverside Motel. in
Southampton.

Stewart Caesar. Reception was held
at Lucknow Complex.
A 50th wedding anniversary tea
was held at the Dungannon Senior
Citizen Centre on Aug. .14,
honoring Elmer and Aileen Trom-
mcr, (actual date Aug. 17). Many of
their Dungannon/Auburn friends
called with best wishes. They have
a family of three: Ralph, Bill and
Connie all residing in British
Columbia.

Eight tearns took part in the horse
pull. Three teams were entered in
the "light horse class 'with Fred
Lyons of Puslinch the winner. Don
Pow of Port Dover was winner of

teams centered.
A typing error occurred in Last
week's results regarding -one class
in the tractor pull. Brian Courtney,
Paul Black, Wayne West and Steve •
