Rev. Alexander McGilvery and his wife, Alexandra, moved to the Dungannon manse from a two year posting at Markham. The Toronto born minister says, "It's like coming back tattle rural roots I never had." Alexandra, who moved around a lot with her family while growing up, and since being married to Alex, is looking forward to a long stay in Dungannon. "I want to become a part of the com- munity, as opposed to just passing through." This is their seventh move in seven years. "It's not a trend we want to continue," says Alex. Alex and Alex,, as they are known, met when he was a student minister in Manitoba. "I liked Manitoba so much, I brought Alex back as a souvenir," he quips. Rev. McGilvery was ordained in 1992, after preaching as lay supply for five years. He served in Elmwood, Bruce County as a student minister in 1987, and served two different terms in New- foundland, where he had five -point charge. "He only got to the wrong church once," says Alex, as they, talked about the pros and cons of giving five services a day.
