Farrell descendants gather
in Kincardine for picnic
A family picnic for the descen-
dants of Herb and Ada Farrell was
held on Sunday, at Kincardine with
about 70 in attendance. Kay Fraser
and her family were hosts for the
event. David. Fraser and Rick and
Lori Zleba had an entertaining
program of races and games for
young and old.
Visitors with Jack and Janet Far-
rell on the weekend were Rob and
Carolyn Farrell, of Guelph, Kathy
and Al Martin, Jared and Scott of
Kitchener, and Susan and Peter
Roberts, Garrett and Curtis of Ailsa
Craig.
Jack and Janet Farrell enjoyed a
visit with Wayne and Mary Gal-
ligher of Port Elgin during the
week. Chris ,Stanley of Owen
Sound, and formerly of Purple
Grove and Ripley, called on the
Farrells.
Anne and Don McCosh enjoyed a
visit with Mary Black, Joyce and
Jenny Farrell and Gladys Arnold.
Congratulations to Marsha Farrell
for her success at the special olym-
' pics in Halifax. She won a gold
medal in the shot put, and bronze

medal in the 200 and 100 metre
races. .Her parents, Lennie and
Karen Farrell, joined in the
celebrations on Sunday in Ripley
for Marsha.
The annual MacKenzie reunion
was held on Saturday - at the Ash-
field Park. Attending were Arnie
and Dianne Clifford and family.
Visiting with the Cliffords
recently was Gertie Walden of
Pinecrest in Lucknow.
The Cliffords visited with Gail
and Peter Bersey at Forest.
Mary Anne Kukoly was a guest at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Harnick and John of the lakeshore.
Betty Helm of Tiverton visited
with Deanna Scott.
Deanna and Morley Scott attended
the Blue family reunion at Bradley
School. Spending the weekend with
them were Bob and Joyce Graham
of Plainwell, Michigan and Cliff
and Helen Scott of Stratford.
Hospital auxiliary hears
more about RNA program
Members of the Auxiliary to
Wingham and District Hospital
welcomed new member Jean Betts
to their, recent June meeting.
Guest speaker was Linda Kieffer,
program co-ordinator of the RNA
school Mrs. Kieffer spoke on the
-changes which have come about
with the closing of the '93 hospital
based RNA program. The new .48
week program, beginning in Sep-
tember;, will now be run by Cones-
toga College. The three semester
program will be held in Wingham.
An :Ontario Secondary. School
diploma is required along with CPR
and first aid courses.
An Auxiliary award will be
presented in August to a graduating
RNA with the highest marks. - •
The new $8,000 ECG, purchased
by the, Auxiliary, was shown. to
members by Nancy Brown from the
lab department.

emergency department as its next
donation. 1

Mclnnes/Falconer
families gather
The 55th annual McInnes -Fal-
coner reunion was held July 11 at
Wingham's Riverside park with 82
family and friends attending.
David Falconer, the first vice
president welcomed everyone and
asked others to introduce themsel-
ves. The George Falconer, John
Falconer, Mary Falconer McInnes,
Janet Falconer Little and Carruthers
families were represented. •
Twelve members of the Janet
Falconer Little branch of the family
attended the reunion, for the first
time and assured everyone they
would return next year . and bring
their families.
The business meeting followed a
lively round of games for the
youngsters. Following.a moment of
silence for those lost in the past
year the minutes of the 1993
reunion were - read and a financial
report given by the secretary
treasurer.

tiple Sclerosis bike tour in the
Waterloo area on Sunday.
Ruth and Don Bell aie enjoyed a
house boat cruise on the Trent canal
system.
