The Water Works Park In Lucknow Is taking on a luscious look as the trees and native plants fill
out. The Horticultural Society's picnic shelter Is just under construction. This Is one part of the
'94 phase of the Greenway Project. The Lions gazebo at Caledonian Park, forming part of the
walk -around loop of the project, is nearing completion as well. (Pat Livingston photos)
Wheel-a-thon today at Pinecrest
- June is going to be a very busy
month at. Pinecrest. We have had
two clothing companies visiting
us. June 13 = 17 is Nursing Home
Week.
June 15 is our annual Wheel-a-
thon for Alzheimers. We will leave
Pinecrest at 10:30 with the help of
the grade seven students from
Lucknow Central School, Pinecrest
staff and volunteers. Stop and say
"hi" to us as we tour main street.
June 17 is our monthly birthday
party with Old Tyme Music by
local volunteers.
Those celebrating birthdays this
month are Beatrice MacPherson,
June 8, Roy Charles, June 11, Greta
Stewart will be 102 on June 13,
Gertrude Walden,June 15, Pet ee
deBoer, June 20, Irene Hodgins,
June 21 and Grace Campbell, June
30.
Pinecrest will be hosting a C.P.R.
course on June 22 and 23.
Our annual garage sale is slated
for June 24 from 10:30 - 3:00 p.m.
A BBQ lunch will also be available.
We welcome all visitors to our
strawberry social on .Wednesday,
June 29 from 1:30 - 3:30.
Our sympathyies is extended to
the families of Ted Collyer and
Winifred Nesbitt.
We will all miss Ron Crich here
at Pinecrest, but wish him the best
in the future, and • also to Mary
Macintosh on her retirement. A
retirement tea in her honor will be
announced at a later date.
We also want to welcome our
new resident, Andy Jarvis of Point
Clark.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Wingham and
District Hospital Corporation will be held in the Nursing Assistants'
Training Centre, Catherine St., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, June
16, 1994 at the hour of eight, o'clockp.m. for the revision of bylaws:
for the election of Governors; for the appointment of Auditors; and
for the transaction of such other things as may property come before
the meeting.
Copies of the Annual Report and Hospital Financial Statements may
be obtained at the front desk of the Wingham and District Hospital,
effective June 13, 199.4 and at the Annual Meeting.
Memberships granting voting privileges may be purchased at the
front desk of the hospital for five dollars ($5.00) prior to five o'clock
p.m., Monday, June 13, 1994. No membership sold, after that time,
on that date, will entitle the purchaser to a vote,
