Hospital. Mackayla is the first

King - William and Mary Ellen
Gower are pleased to announce the
birth of their second granddaughter,
Jocelyn Mary King, daughter of
William and Cynthia (Gower) King
and sister of Bridget of Walkerton,
Jocelyn Mary was born at St.
Joseph's Hospital, London, on May
27, 1994, weighing 8 lbs. 12 oz!

United Church folks enjoy
annual outdoor service
It was ideal weather for the an-
nual outdoor church service for
members of the Lucknow United
Church and Sunday School, held at
the camp at Silver Lake. During the
service the Sunday School pupils
led in some action choruses and
Rev. 'Bresnahan brought along his
smurf puppet to help him tell the
story.
Everyone enjoyed a barbecue
lunch and several games for the.
'children.
Congratulations to Heather Pries -

changed wedding vows on Saturday
at the home of the bride. i1 was a
perfect day for an outdoor wedding.

celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on June 3. They were

The community was deeply sad-
dened and shocked by the sudden
passing of Mrs. Finlay (Margie)
MacDonald at her home in her 68th
year.
' Mrs. MacDonald is survived by
her husband Finlay, two sons,•Tom
and his wife Gloria of Fort Nelson,
British Columbia and George and
his wife Andrea, three sisters and
four grandchildren. Mrs: Mac-
.; Donald will be sadly missed by her
many friends and neighbors.

visitation and funeral for Mrs. Mac-
Donald. They were present from
Fort Nelson, British Columbia,
Grosse Point, Michigan, Chicago,
Illinois, Paris, Ontario, Detroit,.
Michigan, Waterloo, Goderich,
Ripley, Kincardine, Sheperton,
Lucknow, Point Clark. •
Tom MacDonald of Fort Nelson,
British Columbia is staying for a bit
with his father. Finlay since coming
home to attend the funeral of his
mother.

which was held at Brookside

Calvin Gibson, of Etobicoke
(formerly of Amberley) and Harold
Gibson, of N. Fort Meyers, Florida,
attended the.8gth birthday party for
their aunt, Grace Gibson, at the
Lucknow Legion on May 29.
Harold remained for a few weeks to
visit relatives in the area.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Wingham and
District Hospital Corporation will be held in the Nursing Assistants'
Training Centre, Catherine. St., Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, June
16r 1994 at the hour of eight o'clock p.m. for the revision of bylaws:
for the election of •Governors; for. the appointment of Auditors; and •
for the transaction of such other things as may properly come -before
the meeting.
Copies of the Annual Report,and Hospital Financial Statements may
be obtained at the front desk' of the Wingham and District Hospital
effective June 13, 1994 and at the Annual Meeting. '
Memberships granting voting,.privileges may be purchased at the
front desk of the' hospital for, five dollars ($5.00) prior to five o'clock

on that date, will entitle the purchaser to a vote.
