Brookside's concert was a hit with patrons
Brookside Public School
presented their annual spring con-
cert during Education Week. Dress
rehearsal was on May 2 with the
evening performance on May 3.
Parents and friends enjoyed both
shows.
Congratulations to the four young
scientists who went on to the Huron
County Science Fair to represent
Brookside.

UNGANNON
Mo9re did a series of experiments
that dealt with the effectiveness of
different shampoos. All four did a
lot of work and deserve the recog-
nition.
A good time was enjoyed by all
who attended the Old Tyme.dance
at the Senior Centre on May 6, with
music by The Purple Grovers.
Chili, prizes and lucky draws
were on the agenda for Margaret's
special euchre on Saturday. First
place- team was Jack Caesar and
Carman Brindley; second place -
Alden and Irma Crich; sharing the
spotlight in third and fourth with a
tie of 74 were Donna Hayden and
Isobel Doherty, Clarence and Jim
Doherty. Jack Caesar, Gordon
Dougherty, Belle Mole and Adeline
Allin won the special draws.
The euchre tournaments will
resume in the fall.
• Visiting Jim and Margaret Er-
rington over the weekend were
Margaret's brother • Earl and his
wife Ruby Dahmer, of Cambridge,
and other family members who
shared Mother's Day with their
mother.
Eight tables 'of euchre were in
play at the Dungannon Senior
Citizen Centre last Wednesday.

The members constructed an
angel food cake from scratch.

management meeting will be held at
the Dungannon Senior Citizen
Centre on Friday evening, May 13,
at 8 p.m.
It is hoped that all' residents 'of
West Wawanosh Township and
Dungannon N4il1 attend to voice
their concerns; regarding the waste
material from the entire County of
Huron that could .lbe deposited in
our midst.
