Dress rehearsal was on May 2 with the evening performance on May 3. Parents and friends enjoyed both shows. Congratulations to the four young scientists who went on to the Huron County Science Fair to represent Brookside. Cathy Cairncross and Gabe Clarence did a series of experiments on how color affects a person's memory. UNGANNON Mo9re did a series of experiments that dealt with the effectiveness of different shampoos. All four did a lot of work and deserve the recog- nition. A good time was enjoyed by all who attended the Old Tyme.dance at the Senior Centre on May 6, with music by The Purple Grovers. Chili, prizes and lucky draws were on the agenda for Margaret's special euchre on Saturday. First place- team was Jack Caesar and Carman Brindley; second place - Alden and Irma Crich; sharing the spotlight in third and fourth with a tie of 74 were Donna Hayden and Isobel Doherty, Clarence and Jim Doherty. Jack Caesar, Gordon Dougherty, Belle Mole and Adeline Allin won the special draws.
