tribute to mothers
The families of Jean and John
MacDonald and Anna and Don
McTavish gathered at Jean and Ian
MacDonald's to pay tribute to their
mothers.
And speaking of mothers, I'm
sure $hirley MacDonald and Janet
Rhody are proud of their daughters,
the way they served everyone atten-
ding the Secret Sister Banquet for
the W.I. on Wednesday evening.
The Community Centre was
decorated so beautifully everyone
was pleased to relax and enjoy our
ladies' night out. It, wa: obvious
that a lot of thought and planning
went into the evening.
I also saw ' some proud mothers
(and papas too) at the concert at the
Ripley District School on Wednes-
day evening. The youngsters did an
excellent job of their parts in the
operetta, "Trail of '98". A credit'
too is given to their instructors as
everyone seemed to be having fun -
a very important part of any
function.
