In the spring, the front-line started gruelling. rehearsals under choreographer, Erin Dale of Missis- sauga, as they strive to bring, voices, hands, feet and facial expressions 'together. The group premiered in 1989 for the Teeswater Old Boys Reunion. When asked what kept the. group going after the reunion, Angie Busby replied, "It's the thrill of doing something you love and doing a good job. It's a real rush when you get out there and know you have brought it all together;" Ballagh says, "It has to stay fun, despite the hard work. These people have a commitment to do it well. They give so much of themselves, and are very critical of their own performance. As a director, I have to make it fun for them." In addition to the group's com- mitment towards a •high quality performance, Ballagh says, "Me- mbers work extremely hard to sell tickets to break even and, after expenses, have enough money to buy music to start the next year:" This year's • performance by Soundsation will take place on the. Teeswater arena floor where they can seat 1500 people. Locally, tickets are available at From Our Heart and Lucknow Cut and Curl. 'v • .'moi • a Lucknow Sentinel.
